God of War is a really old IP of Sony Computer Entertainment. There are 6 other God of War games before.

The are over 5 years there was no new God of War game in this series. The story of the game happened in Greece, talked about a Spartan whose name is Kratos get his revenge to the Gods of Olympus. After 6 games, he became the god of War and killed almost every gods in ancient Greece. When every fans thought the game is totally over, at E3 on 2016, SIEA posted a trailer on their game shows which drove the fans of God of War crazy.

The new story happened in North Europe and started a new story. Kratos moved to North Europe and he has a son.

A few days before the game was released, SIEA posted a poster on their official social media.





















There are 25 media gave 10/10 to the new God of War, which means the game is really great to them. Actually the selling of the game is also great.

      The brand I choose is the new video game which is produced by Sony Computer Entertainment. The new game is the God of War. The value proposition is the name of the game "God of War" itself. The first God of War was sold at 2005 at North America and was highly praised. After last the God of War III which sold on 2010, there are no new God of War game in more than 7 years. At 2017 E3 shows, Sony computer entertainment announced new God of War game which will be sold on April 13th 2018.
     Most people look forward to the new God of War game. For example, on Youtube video, there's comments said:









He gave full points on the new God of War only by watching it's review. And here's another comments about the new God of War.

Because the new God of War unlike the old games, the old games are traditional ACT games, but the new God of War are more like an ARPG game. But even the game type changes, people are still have lots of hope on it.
And here's another one:

Actually I don't know why EA was mentioned because this is a SONY game which has no business to EA, but the formal Star Wars game make people really hate micro transaction in video games. This is a symbol of what gamers  are thinking.
      The Sony computer entertainment sells the electronic products: video games. The marketing campaign is the beta which was given to several rating media like IGN, Gamespot, Gamestop and Metacritic. There are over 25 medias give full point and almost most of media give 9 over 10 points after playing beta of the God of War. At April 12th, SCE posted a new poster on their social media:

The challenge that the new God of War will face in the future is that how people will accept the new mode of the game and how they feel about new ARPG type of game. Because the God of War isn't a serious of Role Play Game at the beginning.
      If I am the brand manager, I will thank for my costumers' hope on the game and I will do something try not to make my new production become bad. For example, I will promise that we will never add micro transaction in new God of War and it will become a totally buyout game.

1. At the beginning I enroll BA223 because it's one of my major class, after the first week I found that this class is really interesting about the marketing priciples

2. My major is business. Because my father is a business man and I started get in touch with business when I was still at middle school.

3. My most interested in learning about marketing is how the market works and the principles of marketing.

4. Last year I traveled to Japan at summer vacation. I went to Tokyo and Hokkaido which is very beautiful.

Topic 2

    The article I found on CNBC is about the tariff gamble between the USA and China. In the recent week when I was looking at every American and Chinese online marketing news sites I can found the news which wrote about the tariff gamble between the US and China. Both America and China are increasing the tariff on many products like farming and industrial products. After China respond to President Trump’s 50 billion dollars threat in tariffs, President Donald Trump and his top trade negotiator announced another 100 billion dollars in retaliatory tariffs on April 5^th, 2018.

    President Trump’s proposition of the tariff policy is to make China -the 2^nd largest economy in the world back down. The tariff gamble between America and China will be catastrophic for the economy and marketing system especially on agriculture and light industry in two countries. The article mainly discussed about the possible result about President Trump’s policy. “He's injected massive volatility into the stock market, ratcheting up uncertainty for companies that export to and do business in China and threatening to worsen inflation through higher consumer prices.”

    The unique about the tariff gamble this time is that the Chinese government said they will fight US to the end. I believed this is the first time since the United States and China started to approach with each other. But the tariff gamble is unwise absolutely. The global market has already formed, any kind of tariff gamble is bad to the whole world, especially it’s between the 1^st and 2^nd largest economy in the world. If I’m President Trump’s trade negotiator I will suggest not start this fight from the beginning, not because I’m a Chinese but because the gamble will hurt both countries. There is no winner in the tariff gamble or trade wars. If the trade wars completely begin, it tanks the stock market and slow the economic growth in both China and the USA.

    From this article I learned that the global market has already formed. The market brings all the economies together and brought all economies tightly. And any forms of trade wars are bad for global market.
